Does Marriage Make Men Less Productive?

As a general matter, I suspect not.  But I just got married on Saturday, and I thought I’d mention that I expect a decline in my productivity over the next two weeks while Eleni and I head are on our honeymoon.  Rest assured that Points on the Dollar is still alive and well – in fact, I’m happy to report that traffic is climbing nicely! – I just don’t anticipate spending much time in front of my computer over the next two weeks.

That said, please do continue to check in!  Although I plan to shy away from in-depth posts that will keep me bound to my computer for extended periods of time, I’ll be keeping up with developments and posting important news and updates as they occur.  We’re making great use of our points and miles on our honeymoon, so I’ll also be sure post our itinerary and describe how we redeemed our points so effectively.

I’ve never much appreciated the meticulously-detailed trip reports that I often encounter on other blogs, so I pledge not to post a picture of every meal I consume or every crevice of my hotel room.  If you’re clamoring for a close-up of a fruit platter, showerhead, or anything of the like, just send me an email and I’ll respond with instructions on how to follow Eleni on Instagram 🙂

    Marriage is nothing. Wait ’til you have kids.

    Hey Congratulations Dave! Hope you guys have a great time over there. Hope that the wedding went off without any relatives setting fire to the tablecloths…

    @Joe — Hah, fair point
    @Saverocity — thanks a lot and I’m happy to confirm that no tablecloths were set on fire.

  • You got Google Authorship AND those weird subcategories showing under your site – and I still haven’t got Authorship and don’t have the subcats any more! You should go on honeymoon more often!
